www.AlertSanDiego.com for automatic notification of emergencies on your cell phones, VoIP and e-mail. The County of San Diego will notify you with the reverse 9-1-1 system of emergencies, disasters or evacuations affecting your neighborhood.
Register with FEMA - If you, your home, or your business suffered damage in the recent fires, register with FEMA to be considered for Federal and State disaster aid. You can register online at
www.FEMA.gov or call toll-free
1-800-621-FEMA (TTY 1-800-462-7585).
Report Scam - State and Consumer Services Agency have set up an information line,
1-800-952-5210, to take reports of scam and victim abuse as well as provide information on the numerous contractors, loan officers and other licensed professionals who will be assisting the victims in rebuilding their lives.

2. Many pet sitters have business cards & web sites that you can verify their name with their drivers license.

PetSitCo@san.rr.com or Director Pamela Begeal at 858-565-9317. Even if they are not a member, we know the names of many of the services operating in the County and can verify for you.
4. 85% of all professional pet sitters are middle-aged women. Not teenagers or scruffy-looking potential looters.
