FOX 6/DREW FORD WHERE'S RUBEN? SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN:
1) ELIGIBILITY: Entrants must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid social security number, have a valid California Driver's License, and be a member of FOX 6's Couch Potato® viewer loyalty program. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Employees of Bay City Television or Drew Auto of La Mesa and their affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and all immediate family members thereof are not eligible. Sweepstakes winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or equivalent produced by Drew Auto of La Mesa. Winners will be required to sign a release of liability document.
2) SPONSOR/ADMINISTRATOR: The sweepstakes is sponsored by Drew Auto of La Mesa and Bay City Television. The sweepstakes is administered by Bay City Television, 8253 Ronson Road, San Diego, CA 92111.
3) ENTRY PERIOD: The sweepstakes
begins on Thursday May 1st, 2008 and ends on Wednesday May 28th, 2008.
4) ENTRY: Beginning Thursday May 1st, 2008 potential entrants must watch "Fox in the Morning," weekdays between 5-9 am on FOX 6 to see where Ruben Galvan is. Viewers would then log on to fox6.com and answer the "Where's Ruben?" Trivia Question of the day. Each Couch Potato member account is limited to one entry per day and only those who answer the question correctly would be eligible to win. Viewers will also be able to log on to the Couch Potato Showcase Page and enter to win by purchasing entries with their Couch Potato Points. Viewers can enter the Where's Ruben Showcase as many times as they can. Showcase entries are 500 points each.
5) DRAWING: Each week during the entry period, Administrator will select the names of one or more qualifiers in a random drawing of all entries received. Administrator will attempt to notify each qualifier using the telephone numbers provided by the entrant. If a qualifier cannot be contacted at that time or is unable to participate in the final drawing as outlined in this paragraph, the Administrator shall select an alternate qualifier at random from all entries received, and attempt to contact the alternate as specified in this paragraph. All qualifiers must be able to be present for the on-air award of the prize during the broadcast of "Fox in the Morning" on
Wednesday May 28th, 2008. On that date, each qualifier will be given a key, one of which will be the winning key that will start a designated vehicle. Winner will win a
2008 Ford Edge SE Model. The Administrator's decisions are final. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
6) PRIZE: One entrant will receive a 2008 Ford Edge SE Model. Approximate retail value of the vehicle is $26,500.000 MSRP.
7) GENERAL CONDITIONS: In the event that the winner declines the prize, the prize will be forfeited. The prize is not transferable and may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash. Failure to comply with these official rules may result in an entrant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of Bay City Television and Drew Auto of La Mesa.
8) DISPUTES: EExcept where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with the sweepstakes shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of California. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these official rules, entrant's rights and obligations or the rights and obligations of the sponsor or Administrator in connection with the sweepstakes shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of California or any other jurisdiction) which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California.
9) WINNERS LIST/OFFICIAL RULES: To obtain the name of the sweepstakes winner or a copy of these official rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to XETV FOX 6/Drew Auto of La Mesa "Where's Ruben?" Sweepstakes, 8253 Ronson Road, San Diego, CA 92111. Please specify if you are requesting the name of the winner or the official rules.
