BIKE TREK ACROSS AMERICA FOR
HOMELESS, ABUSED AND AT-RISK YOUTH!
Homeless and abused children are a reality. Imagine a child scared and alone with nowhere to sleep.
San Diego Youth & Community Services, a non-profit charitable organization since 1970, has helped over 500,000 homeless, runaway and abused youth in the San Diego area. But they can't do it alone. Their mission is to help at-risk youth become self-sufficient and reach their highest potential by investing in them, strengthening
their families and building their communities.
Executive Director of SDYCS,
Walter Philips is bike riding from Florida back to San Diego in an effort to raise awareness and much needed funding for at-risk youth. Each day on this incredible 22-day, 3,000-mile journey, Walter will cycle 120 - 160 miles across some of the most demanding terrain along the Southern Coastal States.
HOW CAN YOU HELP? You can make a big difference in the lives of San Diego's youth by donating just a penny a mile in "The Trek: Coast 2 Coast 4 Kids" Fundraiser! What does a penny a mile mean? Just $30!
Donate Now! and help provide a safe environment for youth in our community.
